Was Dez Bryant breaking the rules in place for Dez Bryant?

If Dez Bryant rules remain in place – or if they were ever actually instituted – remains a good question.

Because if the Dallas Cowboys wide receiver was given a set of off-field rules to follow, he was in violation of them Friday night. Robert Littal of Black Sports Online reports Bryant, who is questionable for Sunday night’s game against the Atlanta Falcons, was at Privae, a Dallas club.

In August, it was reported that the Cowboys had instituted a thorough list of off-field guidelines for Bryant, who had the assault case involving his mother in the news. Cowboys owner Jerry Jones, in an awkward manner, denied the existence of rules for Bryant. But the alleged rules included a midnight curfew, no alcohol and no nightclubs. Littal has all the details.

It’s really going to be something if one day, one season, Bryant makes all his headlines for performance on the field.
