Wes Welker out for regular-season finale

The Denver Broncos uled out wide receiver Wes Welker for Sunday's regular-season finale against the Oakland Raiders.

Welker is coming off a concussion and was limited in practice this week.

"We didn't want to monkey around," Broncos coach John Fox said. "Again, player safety is the key and we'll just rule him out for this game."

Welker is expected to return for the playoffs in the divisional round.

Meanwhile, defensive end Derek Wolfe isn't playing.

He's been out since experiencing "seizure-like symptoms" Nov. 29 on the team bus. He was limited in practice this week.
