Wes Welker suffered concussion in Broncos win

Due to his second concussion in the past four games, Denver Broncos wide receiver Wes Welker isn't expected to play Thursday night against the San Diego Chargers.

Welker got hurt Sunday against the Tennessee Titans in the second quarter.

Under the NFL concussion testing protocol, Welker wouldn't be cleared in time for Thursday.

Welker suffered his first concussion Nov. 17 against the Kansas City Chiefs.

Welker got hurt Sunday when he was stuck by hard-hitting Titans safety Bernard Pollard.

He caught five passes for 61 yards and a touchdown before getting hurt. For the season, Welker has 73 receptions and 10 touchdowns.
