Will Santana Moss discuss Doc Galea today?
Reporters will be at Redskins Park in a good crowd today, anxious to see if wide receiver Santana Moss is interested in discussing his relationship with Canadian doctor Anthony Galea, who allegedly has been peddling HGH to athletes and reportedly treated Moss.
The Redskins open up their OTA today to reporters and Moss is expected to be there. Whether or not he has anything to say about the news that broke last week remains to be seen.
One person would like to learn more about Galea and his involvement with NFL players and that is commissioner Roger Goodell.
"We are very anxious to see all of the details and pursue it aggressively," Goodell said from the owners meeting in Irving, Texas, according to Rick Maese of the Washington Post.
The NFL does not currently test for HGH but any players discovered to have used HGH would be subject to a suspension because it is on the banned substances list. Of course, Goodell wants to learn more about the matter as quickly as possible. The NFL would be best served to develop and implement a test for HGH as quickly as possible too.
