Williams has yet to shuffle off from Buffalo
Mario Williams spent another night in Buffalo, but still has not made his decision on whether or not to let the Bills make him the highest-paid defensive player in the NFL.
On Wednesday, Williams went to the Buffalo airport, but not to leave the city. Instead, he went to pick up his fiancee, who toured the region with him.
The Bills, according to the Buffalo News, are preparing to pay the prize defensive end more than the $91.5 million package the Chicago Bears gave Julius Peppers.
It is telling on both ends that Williams has now spent two nights in Buffalo being courted by the Bills. The fact that he hasn't signed suggests that he either has some hesitance about the Bills or has another team(s) on his radar. But the fact that he is still in town also says that the Bills are serious contenders to get this deal done.
