Wilson was next in line to be Steelers' OC

The Pittsburgh Post-Gazette reported that Bruce Arians appears on the way out as offensive coordinator of the Pittsburgh Steelers.

In addition, the paper's blog reports that the heir apparent was to be running backs coach Kirby Wilson, who instead is still fighting for his life after suffering severe burns the week of the Steelers' playoff loss to the Denver Broncos.

Wilson is still in Mercy Hospital in Pittsburgh in critical condition. Our thoughts and prayers remain with him.

As for the Steelers OC search if Arians is indeed let go as speculated, it appears Pittsburgh might have to look outside the organization to find a replacement.
