Winston Justice says he is on the road to recovery

Winston Justice says he expects to be 100 percent before the start of the season after undergoing arthroscopic surgery on his left knee Feb. 22.

The right tackle was injured in December and when the knee did not get better early in the offseason, he made the decision to have it checked out. While there was a report it could have been potentially career-ending, or could have wiped out his 2011 season, Justice is upbeat in comments he made to the Philadelphia Eagles’ team Web site.

"I just need to rehab these next couple months and then get back as soon as I can," Justice said. "That's why I'm hitting the rehab so hard."

Justice has already begun rehabilitation under the guidance of surgeon James Andrews. He should be full go in a matter of months.
