With O'Brien off to Penn St., McDaniels will rejoin Pats

With Bill O'Brien officially introduced as the new head football coach at Penn State, it appears that an old Bill Belichick aide will be rejoining the Patriots.

Josh McDaniels, the former Denver Broncos head coach, who spent this season as offensive coordinator for the St. Louis Rams, will replace O'Brien as the team's offensive coordinator next season.

McDaniels, according to ESPN.com, is prepared to rejoin the Patriots for the postseason this year. O'Brien will remain on the New England coaching staff for as long as the Pats are alive in the playoffs.
