Young says he 'probably' signed loan papers
In a videotaped deposition, obtained by the Associated Press, Vince Young say he "probably" signed the loan papers for the $1.9 million Pro Player Funding claims he defaulted on.
"All I know is I probably could have signed some of them, and I feel like some of them are fishy," he testified in a videotaped deposition from last month.
Young is suing is financial advisor regarding the loan regarding the matter. The quarterback signed the papers in front of a notary.
"I went to sign some papers that my financial adviser asked me to go over and sign, but I don't remember what it was," Young testified.
Young was asked by Pro Player's attorney if he had requested to see the documents in their entirety, VY replied: "No. I'd just go and sign and get out of there."
Based on that, the chances that Young will have to pay back the $1.9 million lockout loan, looks like a pretty sure thing, unless he can somehow successfully lay the blame on the financial advisor.
