Bill Belichick on Deflategate: 'We're on to next year'

New England Patriots coach Bill Belichick wouldn’t entertain questions about Deflategate.
“That was a long time ago,” Belichick said. “We’re on to next year.”
New England was fined $1 million and docked two draft picks — a first-rounder in 2016 and a fourth-rounder in 2017 — and owner Robert Kraft said the team will accept the punishments.
“It’s 2015,” Belichick said. “You can forget about last year. That was last year.”

Tom Brady appeal set for June 23

New England Patriots star quarterback Tom Brady is appealing his four-game suspension for his alleged role in the Deflategate scandal, and the appeal has been set for June 23.
The appeal is before training camp and after the Patriots’ mandatory minicamp.
Maybe, if there’s anything sacred in the name of air pressure, there is an end in sight to Deflategate.
The NFL Players Association has asked Roger Goodell to recuse himself from hearing the appeal. He is unlikely to do so, though.
Legal options are a possibility if Brady doesn’t win his appeal.
