Massive Virginia-Lynchburg defensive tackle LaKendrick Ross was signed by the Cincinnati Bengals today, according to his agent, Glen Lansy of Elite Sports Agency in Tampa, Fla.

Ross was added to the roster following a successful tryout.

Ross went undrafted in the NFL supplemental draft.

"After LaKendrick's Pro Day and supplemental draft, Glen and his team at ESA continued to work hard to find LaKendrick an opportunity," Lansky said in a text message. "LaKendrick has landed in a great spot and he will need to continue to battle hard and faces a rough battle ahead, but both he and I are very excited that he will get to learn from one of the best defensive staffs in the NFL."

At 6-foot-5, 360 pounds, Ross has excellent mobility.

Eleven teams attended his workout prior to the supplemental draft.

Ross has dealt with eligibility issues in the past, but is highly regarded for his upside.
