Oklahoma State quarterback Brandon Weeden could be a target of the Cleveland Browns, according to what Nolan Nawrocki of Pro Football Weekly tells the Akron Beacon Journal.

Weeden has the arm strength and skills necessary to make it in the NFL, according to many experts. The main thing working against him is his age, thanks to a foray into minor league baseball before coming to Oklahoma State. Weeden will turn 29 in October, which leads many to question just how much of a window he has to be successful.

Others have started their quarterback careers late and the results have been all over the board. Roger Staubach's Hall of Fame career didn't begin until age 27 because of a military commitment. Jay Schroeder had moderate success in Washington and Oakland following a brief baseball career, while another ex-baseball player, Chris Weinke, was mostly a backup in the NFL.
