Houston Texans standout running back Arian Foster injured his hamstring and left the game during a loss to the Kansas City Chiefs.
He left the game in the first quarter after rushing for 11 yards on four carries.
"It's a hamstring," Foster told reporters. "It doesn't seem too severe right now, so we will just play it out. I have a bye week coming. It's tough."
Foster's injury happened in the first quarter, and after leaving the field to be evaluated, Houston's top back returned to the sidelines in sweatpants and a sweatshirt, his pads and uniform off, finished for the day.
With Foster sidelined, Ben Tate rushed for 50 yards on 15 carries.
