The Chicago Bears re-signed veteran defensive back Derrick Martin when Charles Tillman was placed on injured reserve with a torn triceps.
The former Baltimore Ravens sixth-round draft pick has played for the Green Bay Packers, New York Giants and New England Patriots.
He has 97 career tackles and three interceptions.
The Bears signed Martin after a successful workout where they also auditioned former Tampa Bay Buccaneers safety Myron Lewis and former Oakland Raiders and Philadelphia Eagles cornerback Joselio Hanson.
