The Cincinnati Bengals have hammered out a five-year, $55 million contract with Pro Bowl defensive tackle Geno Atkins, according to ESPN
Atkins will make $22 million in the next six months.
Atkins was rewarded after emerging as one of the top defensive linemen in the game.
Now, the Bengals have him locked up on a long-term basis.
Atkins provides power, explosiveness and playmaking ability.
