The Buffalo Bills have released cornerback Drayton Florence, the team announced.
Florence was a three-year starter for the Bills, but became expendable when Buffalo spent the 10th pick overall in the draft on South Carolina corner Stephon Gilmore, who should start immediately for Coach Chan Gailey.
Florence picked off seven passes during his time with the Bills and returned two of those for touchdowns.
