The contact includes offset language, just as it did for the top overall pick of last year's NFL draft: Kansas City Chiefs offensive tackle Eric Fisher.
The deal for the top overall pick includes base salaries of $420,000, $510,000, $600,000 and $690,000 and the standard fifth-year club option.
Clowney is due a $922,409 fully guaranteed roster bonus on the fifth day of training camp in 2015.
He has a $1.844 million fully guaranteed roster bonus on the fifth day of training camp in 2016.
The former South Carolina star pass rusher has a $2.767 million fully guaranted roster bonus on the fifth day of training camp in 2017.
