Pittsburgh Steelers safety Troy Polamalu's two-year contract extension is worth $20 million and includes a $6.75 million signing bonus, according to a league source.
His base salary for 2014 has been lowered to $1.5 million from $8.25 million with the conversion of his salary into the bonus.
His salary-cap figure is down to $6.387 million from $10.887 million.
In 2015, Polamalu has a $6 million base salary and an $8.25 million salary-cap figure.
In 2016, he has a $5.75 million base salary and an $8 million salary-cap figure.
