Or Brady Quinn.
Despite their best answers to rally around Orton, the talk of the Denver Broncos starting quarterback is not going away until Tebow gets a full chance to prove himself or is no longer on the roster.
In the meantime, Broncos players are doing the best to defend Orton, who won the job in preseason, but had a couple of costly mistakes in the opening loss to the Oakland Raiders.
"I think it's all B.S.," Denver Broncos wide receiver Brandon Lloyd told ESPN on Tuesday. "I think everybody is just waiting for an opportunity to move (Orton) out and play anybody other than him."
It might be, but as long as fans keep chanting for Tebow, the media will have to ask about it, and as long as the media asks about, it's a topic that isn't going away - barring a big win streak under Orton's direction or Tebow being put in the lineup. And that is something that doesn't look like is on the immediate horizon in Denver.
