The DUI trial of Denver Broncos linebacker D.J. Williams has ended in a mistrial, according to the Associated Press.

The reason for the mistrial is that Williams' lawyer, Harvey Steinberg, was only allowed to excuse two jurors from the trial, rather than the three he was entitled to excuse.

A new trial has been scheduled for Aug.15.
