Cleveland Browns defensive lineman Marcus Benard suffered a broken hand in a motorcycle accident on Monday afternoon and was hospitalized overnight, according to the Cleveland Plain Dealer.
The Browns were coming off a bye week on Sunday. The riding of motorcycles is usually prohibited in standard NFL contracts.
The crash occurred on Interstate 71 in Cleveland. Benard is expected to make a full recovery, according to what his agent, Drew Rosenhaus, told NFL.com.
