Peyton Hillis has a little more serious condition football-wise than strep throat after Sunday's loss to the Oakland Raiders.

The Cleveland Browns star running back suffered a hamstring injury on his second carry of the game, according to Mary Kay Cabot of the Cleveland Plain Dealer.

Hillis, who is on the cover of Madden '12, said he doesn't believe in the so-called "Madden Curse" that seems to follow players who have been on the cover of the video game. Still, he is frustrated by the injuries and the season he is having, though he is trying to remain positive.

"It's all frustrating," said Hillis. "But when it rains it pours and you just kinda roll with the punches. Everything's a life-learned lesson. The more optimistic you are about it, the more positive you can be and have an open mindset about it, the better off you'll be."
