After a report from Jacksonville that he would likely be retiring, Mark Brunell has taken to Twitter to say that he still has plans to play, if the opportunity presents itself.
Brunell, a 19-year veteran, has spent the past two seasons with the New York Jets, but doesn't figure to be back there after the acquisition of Tim Tebow to play behind Mark Sanchez.
It will be interesting to see if a team with a young quarterback who could use a veteran mentor reaches out to Brunell.
