The San Diego Chargers cut struggling veteran cornerback Richard Marshall.
They signed cornerback Richard Crawford as his replacement.
Crawford is a former Washington Redskins seventh-round draft pick from SMU.
He intercepted a pass against the Dallas Cowboys as a rookie in 2012. He also had a 64-yard punt return that year against the Baltimore Ravens to set up a game-winning field goal.
Crawford missed all of last season with a knee injury.
