The Indianapolis Colts placed nose tackle Brandon McKinney on injured reserve due to ongoing knee problems.
He missed the entire season last year due to a torn anterior cruciate ligament in his left knee.
The Colts rescinded a waiver on linebacker C.O. Prime, keeping him on the roster.
McKinney is a former Baltimore Ravens reserve signed last year. In six career starts and 61 games, he has 82 tackles, one forced fumble and one fumble recovery.
The 6-foot-2, 345-pounder didn't practice earlier this week due to swelling in his knee.
