The Indianapolis Colts signed defensive back Michael Hamlin on Monday to help bolster their secondary.
To make room, the Colts waived defensive back Cornelius Brown injured, the team announced.
Hamlin is a two-year veteran who has spent time with the Dallas Cowboys and most recently the Jacksonville Jaguars. He was originally a fifth-round pick of Dallas in 2009.
