The Indianapolis Colts are still entertaining the possibility of trading veteran defensive end Dwight Freeney, says Sports Illustrated's Peter King.
King said the Colts would "love to get a good pick" for the 32-year-old defensive end, who may be about to become obsolete (as an end anyway) in Indy with Chuck Pagano likely embracing the 3-4.
The problem, King reasons, as to why a deal likely won't be done to move Freeney is that Asante Samuel went so cheap (7th-round pick) from Philadelphia to Atlanta that it probably dried up much of the market for Freeney or any other high-priced veteran in the process.
