Indianapolis Colts star wide receiver T.Y. Hilton dedicated a touchdown catch to his newborn daughter.

Hilton caught a 73-yard touchdown from Andrew Luck during a win over the Jacksonville Jaguars, punctuating the score with an end-zone celebration where he cradled the football as if it was his baby daughter.

"I was holding her and then I said, 'Baby you want the game ball or touchdown ball?'" Hilton said. "That was my goal, to get both of those for her."

Hilton had 114 receiving yards and now is over 1,000 yards for the second year in a row.

Hilton's wife, Shantrell, gave birth to their daughter, Eugenia, early Sunday morning. There was some concern as to whether Hilton would play due to the timing.

However, Hilton's agent, Erik Burkhardt, announced on Twitter that Hilton would play and also planned to score a touchdown.

"For all fantasy footballers: Yes, @TYHilton13 will make it to the stadium by kickoff & told me "it's the right thing to do to get her a TD," Burkhardt wrote on Twitter. "That boy @TYHilton13 staying true to his promise for his baby girl!!!! Rocked her in the endzone!!!!"

Hilton posted a photo of his daughter on Twitter after the game.

"My princess got the game ball today," Hilton wrote. "I promised u a td on your special day."
