Andre Gurdoe said two weeks ago that he and some veteran players were planning to meet with troubled wide receiver Dez Bryant, the poster boy for fiscal irresponsibility during the NFL lockout.
They did just that, according to Bryant’s Twitter account. Gerry Fraley of the Dallas Morning News reports that Bryant broke bread with Gurode, Tony Romo and Keith Brooking.
“Had a good time,” Bryant said.
Bryant faces a series of legal challenges as he’s been accused of leaving a wake of unpaid bills in his recent past. The issues surfaced after Bryant was temporarily banned from the NorthPark Center Mall. Presumably, the meal with his teammates didn’t take place in the food court there.
