The Miami Dolphins are re-signing running back Daniel Thomas to bolster their injury-riddled backfield.
Running backs Knowshon Moreno (dislocated elbow) and Lamar Miller (ankle) got hurt against the Buffalo Bills.
Thomas is a former Dolphins second-round draft pick from Kansas State.
He was cut last month.
Thomas hasn't been very productive, but has a background in the Dolphins' offense.
