The Miami Dolphins have struck a long-term deal with safety Reshad Jones.
He's now under contract through the 2017 season.
Jones' terms on the four-year extension are $30 million with over half of it guaranteed, according to the Miami Herald.
Jones spent time away from the team during the offseason as a protest of his unresolved contract situation.
Jones is a hard-hitting former fifth-round draft pick from the University of Georgia.
