A little more than a month before the Philadelphia Eagles are to report to training camp (assuming no small item like a collective bargaining agreement is hatched before then), Akeem Jordan has some trouble on his hands.
According to the Harrisonburg (Va.) Daily News-Record, Jordan was arrested in the wee hours Sunday and charged with misdemeanor assault and battery.
Details as to specifically what happened are thin, but an incident occurred in a parking lot in the James Madison University college town where Jordan formerly starred. Jordan was released on his own recognizance earlier today.
Jordan, who is a Harrisonburg native, has been with the Eagles for the last four seasons.
