The Atlanta Falcons have hired former Cleveland Browns offensive coordinator Kyle Shanahan as their new offensive coordinator, according to a league source.
Shanahan is poised to join Seattle Seahawks defensive coordinator Dan Quinn, the Falcons' new coach-in-waiting once the Super Bowl is over.
Shanahan resigned as offensive coordinator of the Browns after management insisted he play Johnny Manziel instead of Brian Hoyer.
