The Atlanta Falcons have promoted DeJuan Polk to the position of coordinator of pro scouting.
He’s held a variety of roles in six seasons with the organization, beginning as a pro personnel assistant in 2006 before shifting to become a college scout covering the Midwest in 2008. Two years ago, he went back into the pro scouting department and handled advanced scouting, among other duties.
“DeJuan has a done a fantastic job for us during his time here,” general manager Thomas Dimitroff said in a statement released by the team. “He has a tremendous work ethic and an acute eye for talent. He is a value to our organization and I am proud to promote him to Coordinator of Pro Personnel. We believe he has a bright future and we are happy to have him part of our personnel team.”
