The Atlanta Falcons have some major work to do in order to keep their offensive line together, but they’ve gotten a start on ensuring their free agents don’t hit the exit door.

The Falcons have agreed to terms with linebacker Stephen Nicholas on a five-year contract, according to D. Orlando Ledbetter of the Atlanta Journal-Constitution. Nicholas has emerged over the last two seasons, making 25 starts, and now he’s a fixture in the middle of the defense.

Atlanta now must pour its resources and attention to offensive linemen Tyson Clabo, Harvey Dahl and Justin Blalock.
