The New York Giants have reached a five-year deal with former Denver Broncos cornerback Dominique Rodgers-Cromartie, according to ESPN.
Rodgers-Cromartie chose the Giants over a competing bid from the New York Jets.
He visited both New York franchises.
This is a damaging blow to the Jets, who recently cut Antonio Cromartie.
The Jets also missed out on cornerback Darrelle Revis, who went to the New England Patriots.
Rodgers-Cromartie turned down the Broncos' offer to remain in Denver and is now relocating to New York.
