Iowa defensive tackle Carl Davis visited the Detroit Lions today.
Davis is the sixth defensive tackle to visit the Lions.
The 6-foot-5, 320-pounder started every game last season and had 36 tackles, nine for losses and two sacks and a fumble recovery.
Davis had 42 tackles as a junior, four for losses, and 1.5 sacks.
Davis played in the Senior Bowl.
The following defensive lineman have visited the Lions: Xavier Cooper (Washington State), Mario Edwards (Florida State), Jordan Phillips (Oklahoma), Angelo Blackson (Auburn) and Marcus Hardison (Arizona State).
