The Broncos announced that defensive coordinator Jack Del Rio will become the team's interim head coach while John Fox recovers from a heart procedure he's expected to undergo soon.
Fox was taken to the hospital over the weekend after feeling weak during a round of golf.
The last time Del Rio was a head coach was with teh Jaguars from 2003-2011, where he compiled a 69-73 record.
Del Rio is expected to fill this role for a while as Fox is expected to miss multiple weeks due to the heart surgery.
