The New England Patriots have promoted outside linebacker Ja'Gared Davis from the practice squad to the 53-man roster, according to a league source.
Davis has been a practice squad player, on and off, for the Patriots over the course of the past two years. He's appeared in one game during his career, which was a season ago.
Davis played college football at SMU.
