One day after fourth-round wide receiver Shaq Evans on injured reserve, the New York Jets placed third-round cornerback Dexter McDougle on injured reserve with a torn anterior cruciate ligament.
McDougle got hurt earlier in training camp, but wasn't placed on injured reserve until this week.
McDougle, a former University of Maryland standout, missed most of his senior year with a shoulder injury.
McDougle had one tackle and a pass defense against the Indianapolis Colts.
