INDIANAPOLIS -- Veteran free agent quarterback Josh McCown is meeting with the Chicago Bears today at the NFL scouting combine.
McCown played for Bears coach John Fox for two years with the Carolina Panthers.
He was cut by the Tampa Bay Buccaneers last week after an ineffective season after signing a two-year, $10 million contract.
McCown, 35, excelled with the Bears in 2013 when he passed for 13 touchdowns and one interception in five starts when Jay Cutler was hurt.
McCown could be a good fit for the Bears.
He's also met with the Buffalo Bills.
