The good news for Pittsburgh Steelers kicker Jeff Reed is that a Pennsylvania judge threw out two charges he was facing for an altercation with police that took place outside of a bar.
The bad news is that he’s still facing two more charges.
Charges of simple assault and resisting arrest against Reed were tossed out by a judge in Pittsburgh on Monday in regards to an October 18 incident that took place near Heinz Field, according to the Associated Press.
Reed allegedly took a “fighting stance” when officers tried to cite teammate Matt Spaeth for disorderly conduct. Spaeth, a backup tight end for the Steelers, was allegedly urinating in a parking lot.
The Pittsburgh kicker is still facing charges of disorderly conduct and public drunkenness.
