Finally, it's over.

Rich Rodriguez is officially out as head coach at Michigan after meeting with athletic director Dave Brandon for the second day in a row. Check out the stream of the press conference here, courtesy of the university's official athletic site.

Rodriguez was fired on Wednesday, ending a three-year tenure marred by too many losses and NCAA violations. He'll finish his career in Ann Arbor with a 6-18 record in Big Ten play, and he was just 11-11 at Michigan Stadium. He was just 1-11 against ranked teams and 0-6 combined against rivals Ohio State and Michigan State. Overall, he went 15-22 at the school, and his buyout for the final three years of his contract is at $2.5 million.
