Morningside College running back Brandon Wegher is set to work out in the Iowa State campus Pro Day workout Tuesday, according to a league source.
He is projected to be a sixth-round to seventh-round draft pick.
Wegher rushed for an NAIA record 2,610 yards and averaged eight yards per carry last season, leading the nation in rushing and scoring. He also broke records with 39 rushing touchdowns and averaged 20.0 points per game and 3.3 touchdowns per game.
Wegher played in the Medal of Honor all-star game and was the leading rusher.
Wegher also caught 29 passes for 429 yards and four touchdowns.
Wegher was named an All-American selection last season.In two years at  Morningside, Wegher rushed for 3,815 yards and 48 touchdowns.
He began his career at Iowa where he rushed for a school record eight touchdowns as a freshman.
