Agent Vinny Porter has been suspended by the NFL Players Association.
Porter was recently arrested on wire fraud charges. The suspension will extend through the resolution of his legal problems.
Porter allegedly participated in a conspiracy to defraud investors, including athlete client investors out of milions of dollars by concealing the price of an investment, identities of other investors and the amount of equity being purchased.
Porter has represented New England Patriots players Jonas Gray and Brian Tyms, New York Giants linebacker Devon Kennard and Denver Broncos offensive lineman Michael Schofield.
The NFLPA is investigating. According to rules governing contract advisors, Porter must cooperate with the NFLPA in its investigation.
