New York Giants cornerback Prince Amukamara saw his season come to an end Monday night with a torn biceps, coach Tom Coughlin told reporters following the 40-24 loss to the Colts.

Amukamara is likely going to be slated for surgery to repair the injury.

The Giants have been snakebit with injuries all year long. In addition to Amukamara, center Weston Richburg was carted off the field due to an ankle injury during Monday night's game. Linebacker Jon Beason (foot), cornerback Walter Thurmond (pectoral) and receiver Victor Cruz (knee) have all been placed on season-ending injured reserve.

After starting the season 3-2, the Giants have lost three in a row and face a tough schedule over the next three weeks with games against Seattle, San Francisco and Dallas.

Amukamara's season ends with the cornerback recording 45 tackles and three interceptions.
