The Oakland Raiders have agreed to a contract with first-round pick D.J. Hayden, per multiple reports.
Hayden, who suffered a life-threatning abdominal injury in college that scared many teams off, was taken 12th overall by the Raiders.
He was able to overcome the injury and had surgery in the off-season to remove scar tissue. The Raiders are hopeful that he will be ready to compete at the start of training camp and contend for a starting cornerback position.
