The Oakland Raiders were awarded wide receiver Kenbrell Thompkins off waivers from the New England Patriots.
Thompkins caught 32 passes as a rookie.
He went undrafted out of Cincinnati.
The Raiders lost Rod Streater to a broken foot and was placed on injured reserve-designated to return.
Thompkins was inactive twice this season and caught six passes.
