The Las Vegas Raiders placed linebacker Cory Littleton on the reserve/COVID-19 list, multiple outlets reported Thursday, with his status moving forward still in question in advance of Sunday’s home game against the Denver Broncos.
It was not clear of Littleton’s place on the list was because he tested positive for COVID-19 or had been in close proximity to somebody that did.
Littleton is in his first season with the Raiders (5-3) after playing the first four of his NFL career with the Los Angeles Rams. He has 48 tackles in eight games, leaving him far off the pace from matching his career-best total of 134 with the Rams last season.
Littleton had 7.5 combined sacks over the previous two seasons but does not have one with the Raiders.
Raiders cornerback Trayvon Mullen did return to practice Thursday but was limited with a hamstring injury. Defensive tackle Maurice Hurst and linebacker Kolton Miller both were out with ankle injuries.
