David Reed couldn't hang onto the football Sunday for the Baltimore Ravens. Now it appears as if he won't hang onto the kickoff return job either.
John Harbaugh said as much Monday, via the Carroll County Times, saying, ""I think we're looking for our kick returner."
Reed lost a pair of fumbles that led to Seattle field goal in Sunday's Ravens loss. The most obvious replacement is cornerback Lardarius Webb, but the Ravens don't want to put too much on him, since he already returns punts and is a starting cornerback. Chris Carr, who handled returns for the Tennessee Titans in 2008, is a possibility as is rookie receiver Torrey Smith and rookie LaQuan Williams.
